Follow me for daily nutritional & training advice! 😉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *WHY YOU STRUGGLE TO LOSE BODY FAT* by ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Shown in the post is what each stage of losing body fat looks like on a male and female in hopes to motivate yourself towards your fitness goals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why do individuals struggle to lose body fat quite often? For most cases either one of or several of these key details are not being implemented or are triggering habits that hold you back from making progress in losing fat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1) Not tracking calories. -In order to get serious about your goals you need to know what you are consuming and be in a calorie deficit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2) Sneaky calories. -Snacking, those calories add up and could be pushing out of your deficit. Also cooking oils, fruity coffees, etc... could be pushing you out of fat loss mode as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3) Not pushing yourself. -Going through the motions at the gym, please don't stare at the mirror for 10 minutes, really home in on getting in the gym and getting out as fast as possible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4) Focused on minor. -Gotta get my post workout shake, scale is not moving, what supplement to buy, so and so is losing weight rapidly. All items to not worry about, worry about yourself, keep your head down and just push forward, it will happen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5) Binges -Weekend comes and all hell breaks loose, it's a free for all... beer, pizza and ice cream here we come, only to reverse or yet worse set you back more than a weeks worth of progress. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 6) Eat healthy but not to lose. -Eating all the "bro" foods, yet you are not assessing the correct macro nutrients nor tracking the amount of "clean" foods you are eating. No matter how "clean" these foods are, you can still gain fat from a surplus of any type of foods not just junk foods. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 7) Rest/Recovery. -Sleeping more. goes without saying, try even getting some naps if your schedule will allow it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you've made it this far comment below "STRUGGLE", and THANK YOU for reading and have a great day! --Ski

*WHAT IS THE BEST TRAINING AGE* by ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ OK, OK, lots of questions of late about what age is good for what training, or at what age I felt like is the peak age. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Changes to your body that affect how it reacts to bodybuilding occur after 20 years and after 40 years of age. The muscles and skeletons of children and teenagers are not fully grown, so bodybuilding might be best postponed until after age 17-20. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I find what is best for people at such a young age is to just stick to the basics and start lifting, you really don't need to worry about much at this age as the growth rate and hormonal changes that take place are basically magic. You are at your youth for growing so anything you do, even if it's incorrectly is going to strengthen you. I will say this though, focus on form, get that foundation down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As for the mid crowd, maybe it's time to start fine tuning some techniques, you have the best of both worlds here, the strength, stamina, youth and STILL growing to your highest potential, go all out! The perfect age to get big. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 40+, As you age, muscle, bone and connecting tissue mass naturally decrease along with hormone production.
